The road to OSCP; the PWK 5 day live course by OffSec trainers
On my road to OSCP I just finished one awesome week of OSCP Training.
The live Penetration Testing with Kali Linux (PWK) training by Offensive Security
trainers.
Penetration Testing with Kali Linux
The whole training program
was a thrill. I’ve done the online PWK by myself, two years ago, but doing this live
with a group of 15 people with guidance of three trainers from Offensive Security,
was really awesome!
Wrap up
Great to have finally met some guys from Offensive Security.
Some tricks you just won’t discover by yourself.
And now? Busting my ass off in the labs for 60 days, prepping for the exam. Improving
notes and learning! And above all, TRY HARDER!
Just received the email this morning that I passed the Penetration
Testing with Kali Linux exam and obtained my Offensive Security
Certified Professional (OSCP) certification. Hooray!
On many trips and holidays I find public Wi-Fi hotspots, e.g. in
hotels or bars, which use a “captive portal” where you have to
authenticate before you are allowed to access the internet.
As mentioned in my previous article about logging the terminal session,
it would be very nice to have the date time echo-ed regularly, to be
able to find your way in the log-file.
